- Define yourself: what are you?
an Investor is someone who holds on to a certain position for at least one month.
a swing trader is someone who holds on to a position from multiple days to a couple of weeks.
an intraday trader is someone who opens and closes his positions within a day.
Q.What is more profitable?
Intraday trading is the most profitable, but only if the person is an expert in the skill.
Ask yourself: how much time do I have? what are my goals? and which style of trading suits me the most?

What section of the market will you trade in?
Being an Indian, the only option you have is to trade in the Indian Equity Cash Market.
Is trading based on news useful?
No. A successful trader develops a fine skillset based upon several techniques and lots of practice. Money is never handed to you that easily, through a piece of simple news.
What is new in trading today?
Algo-based trading is the latest and fastest-growing, most influential factor in trading today. You can create a code-based strategy. Then you can backtest your strategy over say the past 10 years, and you can get the winning ratio for your strategy. You can know whether your strategy is profitable or not- in just a couple of minutes.
Is trading gambling?
No. Trading is not gambling. It is important to not treat it like gambling if you want serious money. If trading excites you and pumps you up, and the next moment you get a loss it angers you, then you are probably doing it wrong. You are gambling. Successful traders use pure logic.
